Paige had a second tumor to fix problems with the incision.  Simply, the incision wouldn't close up and CSF (spinal/brain fluid) would seep out.  Technically, the (man made) patch that Dr. Jallo used to close the dura mater didn't seal properly.  The CSF would seep out around the patch.  To fix the problem, Dr. Jallo used some of Paige's tissue as a patch.  Since then, the incision has closed up nicely and cleanly.  You can see Paige's PICC line peeking out of her shirt sleeve.
